Thanks for the kind words guys. Was getting a bit discouraged with this build and thinking I had bitten off more than I can chew but your comments have renewed my enthusiasm and I'm ready to get stuck right in again.

Here's a little progress. The more I looked at pictures of 379 cabs and compared them with the king, the more I realised the windscreen and shape of the hood were wrong. So off they came!

Put a downwards angle on the roof of the cab

Now for the hard part where the windshield meets the hood.

I've hit my first frustration of the build, let's see if you can guess what it is:

WOW, don't you hate it when you think you've got all your body mods done, and you step back and look at it, and it's still not right?

I've been there too many times. :yawn

You're taking the time to do it right Nick, and it will pay off in the end.
Rick

Yep taking my time on this one, want to get it right. Will probably take a year to finish but I'd rather do it that way than rush it and then look at it on the shelf wishing I'd changed some details.
I only have one set of parts left to get, got some stainless laser cut for the bumper, got some wedico tyres that I'm in the process of modding to fit the rims, just waiting on some cool chrome stacks that have sadly gone missing somewhere between the states and the uk. That's the final piece of the puzzle, I'll be happier when they finally arrive.

Looks good dude!!! Nice attention to detail. After you get the window angled out you may have to add a little to the cowl. Keep up the good work !!
